About the Project:
To commemorate the release of The new Porsche Panamera, we designed a microsite that payed homage to the best-in-class automotive tradition that is the basis of The new Porsche Panamera. Users were met with an immersive interactive timeline that sets the stage for the latest in a long line of disruptors, The new Porsche Panamera.
My Role:
Through a collaborative approach, the visual designer and I concepted the timeline to be both navigable and non-intrusive into the browsing experience of our users. Through a well though out information architecture design I situated content so that it was easily understood and engaged with. The design approach sought to emphasize lower-funnel action engagement so that our site was a stepping stone to a deeper Porsche customer experience.
With the strategy I included of page-ending CTA’s pointing to our most desired user-actions of ‘Build Your Own’ and ‘Find a Dealer,’ we were able to see an almost 13% conversion rate, compared to past Porsche microsites that only resulted in approximately 2% for the same user-actions without a similar design strategy.
