About the Client:
Brightline, a start-up train service in Florida needed a digital presence, so we created one for them. We designed a fully responsive .com e-commerce site from scratch over a multi-year period that facilitated ticket purchases, ticket changes, user account access, multi-ride product purchasing and booking, and much more.
About the Project:
The goal of designing the offers and promotions pages was to create a system that can be flexible for various types of promotions and offers. By incorporating various content elements into the page layout, the client was able to think ahead and plan what content they would need to curate in order to create a new post. Because of the uncertainty around the exact types of offers and promotions they would be serving, the ultimate priority was designing a system that was not only flexible, but communicated layout priority if some elements were needed, and others not.
Along with annotated wireframes I included content layout maps to communicate content that is required, optional, or was a global page element.
My Role:
As the lead UX designer on the project, I conducted research, gathered requirements and executed wireframes against client briefs working together with visual designer to keep within digital brand standards, and ensuring usability was retained into the design phase. Presented wireframes and designs to C-level clients and their 3rd party developer and worked together implement the designs.
Site launched early 2018.
